"My Former Opponent, Now My President"

Just a quick thought... "My former opponent, now my President"... these words from John McCain struck me the most from yesterday's US 2008 Presidential Election outcome, which was won, of course, by Barack Obama, the very first African American to be elected President of the United States...

I guess the politicians that will run in the 2010 Philippines' Presidential Election should all learn from them both... but especially from John McCain...

Unless they are willing to sincerely utter these words, please... DON'T RUN....

It's so true. I was very proud of John McCain and the speech he gave on Election night. They are both (Obama and McCain) great men.

You are so right. He displayed such refreshing honour and courtesy towards Obama in his defeat. What an exciting and proud time in history. (I am not American either)
